Sounds of May
Ahh, here we are, with another playlist to welcome another month with open arms. This month’s playlist is a massive jumble with a WIDE variety of genre’s and sounds. I was unable to give you an April playlist, because Spotify’s update took away the embed feature, but I finally have it figured out to bring you this.
For May, I focused on songs that invoke feelings, good, bad, sad, and everything in between. Most of these are lighthearted jams that you can listen to whilst sitting in the grass soaking up the sun or even on your morning commute.
I started the playlist with one of my new favorites called “Teeth” from The Japanese House, an artist on the same record label as The 1975. Following that are some chill songs from George Ezra and Ed Sheeran. Throughout the rest of the playlist is a spattering of upbeat songs from WALK THE MOON, twenty one pilots, Ella Eyre, Neon Trees, and Sam Sparro.
Intermingling with the upbeat notes are some slower, deeper songs from Sir Sly, The Neighbourhood, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and Hozier.
I love this playlist and I love the month of May – give this playlist a listen!
