Winter, Wandering, & Waffles

Winter, Wandering, & Waffles
excuse the amateurism  an

The holidays have just passed, and the slumping mood of winter has been set upon us. Waking up this morning, it was obvious that we had been blessed (or not, depending on your opinion) with a bountiful snowfall. It seemed like the perfect day to be a tourist in a familiar place. My friend Amy (Obsessive Scorpio) and I ventured out in search of breakfast and wherever else the wind took us. We decided to stop over at Black Coffee & Waffle Bar and got coffee and waffles, of all things. This little breakfast nook has become pretty popular recently and it truly did not disappoint. After we knocked back some caffeine, we ventured to the Stone Arch Bridge and Mill City Park to walk around and enjoy the gleaming sunshine. It was cold, but it was too nice of a day to pass up. It is always nice to welcome adventure during the winter, and honestly it is probably good for the soul. I hope you can find adventure this winter, even if it is only found in a crazy outfit. To give you some inspiration, here’s what Amy and I wore for our day of waffles and wandering.

 What Amy’s wearing:
Sweater: Free People
Boots: Dr. Marten’s
Bag: Madewell
Bracelets: Alex + Ani
Necklaces: Etsy
Jacket: Michael Kors
 What I’m wearing:
Sweater: Madewell
Jeans: Gap
Boots: Steve Madden
Jacket: Tommy Hilfiger
Bag: Urban Outfitters
Hat: H&M

I know we’re already heavy on pictures, but hey, everyone loves pictures. Here’s some other fun shots from Minneapolis.

And lastly, some photos from my instagram.

Enjoy your winter, and do some wandering.
